Role Summary: Primary responsibilities to develop repair efficiency enhancement initiatives, optimizing repair cycles, production footprint, and to build the best cost competitive technical solutions, in order to improve quality, efficiency, safety on daily shop operations. Manufacturing Engineer will utilize experience and expertise to solve problems, develop and execute projects for self and others, and have the ability to affect short-term and some long-term business goals.
Be part of a team for daily production, strategic project management in areas of: manufacturing process definition, quality, safety, tests, prototypes, rearrangement, IT, sourcing, logistics etc.
Drive changes to meet better quality and document methods Instructions;
Attend quality sessions and help identification of root cause analysis and corrective actions for NC;
Lead New Technology Initiatives (NTI) and share best practices with other locations;
Utilize lean-manufacturing principles and participate in action workouts to improve process capability, reduce overall costs and increase capacity;
Provide leadership to all organizations and individuals in the plant, in order to meet customer requirements for quality, cost, and delivery;
Support the leadership team in strategic decision-making and problem-solving.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering;.
Some experience in manufacturing leadership position or Engineering;
Knowledge of the disciplines of manufacturing management;
Knowledge of lean methodologies;
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Ability to influence others and lead small teams.
Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact.
Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
Effective problem identification and solution skills.
Proven analytical and organizational ability.
Advanced level of English language skills
Fluent Hungarian skills
SAP ERP system knowledge is an advantage
Six Sigma Green Belt certification is an advantage
