Role Summary: The GE Power Digital Customer Engagement (DCE) team orchestrates targeted, seamless online customer experiences that allow customers and potential customers to learn, engage with, and purchase from GE. The digital customer experience team supports the broader P&L digital marketing teams, our HQ strategic marketing team, and sales and Is responsible for unifying and delivering a consistent digital secure experience with respect to all necessary customer tools & applications.
Architect, automate, deploy and migrate applications to the Predix platform, including services necessary for adoption. You will be a member of a cross-functional team working together to deliver successful outcomes on the GE Predix platform
Own the DCE IT team’s application infrastructure and overall technical architecture that include public and secure experience application platforms including content management system (AEM)
Partner with business IT Architects and Developers to understand requirements and partner on design and migration activities including discovery, provisioning, testing, data migration and validation
Leverage DevOps tools such as Chef, Jenkins, GitHub and CloudFoundry to automate continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines
Maintain and apply current knowledge of information technology; keep abreast of new and emerging technologies; make technology, process, and application recommendations that can be used to lower costs, increase performance, and add value to the customer
Demonstrate an ongoing ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment
Scope projects and guide customers through successful pilot and production deployments
Contribute to the enhancement and growth of the Predix platform, engage with GE Software team to drive innovative solutions
Technical owner for driving technical solution, design and system architecture. Is aware of best in class solutions, technologies, and
Coordinate with the compliance teams to ensure adherence to the necessary compliance processes
Facilitate and provide technical design guidance on unifying & orchestrating public and logged-in experiences across tools and applications
Security & Compliance per GE guidelines
Design solutions and architecture for “best-in-class” optimized experience with strong emphasis on product performance
Gather and analyze data and develop architectural requirements at project level.
Participate in setting technical strategy and standards from conception to implementation
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).
A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a technical area (Architecture, Software, or Information Technology) or (a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Information Technology or Software).

Ability and willingness to travel, as required
Must be willing to work out of an office located in Atlanta, GA
Familiarity with gathering architectural & data requirements to drive solutions
Demonstrated experience in technical project management
Demonstrated experience with web development, including responsive design methodologies
Demonstrated experience in operating cloud-based IT solutions
Demonstrated experience with cloud orchestration and automation tools
Strong analytics/statistical background
Familiarity with AWS, Azure cloud solutions
Predix training and platform experience
Ability to influence and build consensus with other IT teams and leadership
Ability to interact professionally with a diverse global group, executives, managers, & subject matter experts
Strong team player who works to make the entire team successful, regardless of reporting lines; not bound by strict role description
Demonstrated experience in technical project management
