Role Summary: The GE Power Digital Customer Engagement (DCE) team orchestrates targeted, seamless online customer experiences that allow customers and potential customers to learn, engage with, and purchase from GE. This position will be responsible for wing-to-wing execution of Predix-based My Dashboard 2.0 product roadmap to deliver high quality outcomes to internal and external customers.
The Sr Technical Product Manager will:
Partner with functional product owner to define My Dashboard 2.0 features backlog and requirements, work with technical team internal and external to the initiative to ensure outcomes delivery on time, within scope and budget and of desired quality
Own the tactical planning, development and execution of the product vision as communicated by the functional product owner using Predix
Identify opportunities to improve existing business processes and execute relevant improvements
Drive technology discussion and strategy to meet business needs and in line with company reference architecture
Manage the sprint planning and prioritization of the product backlog
Own the technical execution of the product vision through collaboration with product management, engineering management and product team members
Maintain responsibility for the content and priorities of each development sprint
Partner with architecture team to ensure product architecture is aligned to Predix guidelines and drive innovative technical solutions that meet evolving customer’s challenges
Manage vendors and lead and motivate the project team to deliver solutions
Ensure project management processes, agile methodologies and practices are followed
Manage the Predix execution and technical development team with guidance based on priorities, resolution of roadblocks and interdependencies
Facilitate convergence of functional and technical knowledge
Report status and issues to business analyst team leader or Product Manager.
Collaborate with User Experience, Customer Support and cross-functional P&L teams
Assist in the development of training guides and test plans.
Understand customer tools and applications including relevant customer & install base data to better support existing customers
Partner with Services, Engineering, Commercial, Strategic Marketing, and DCE
Own the creation of comprehensive documentation of product functionality and processes including but not limited to data flow diagrams, technical solution design and architecture diagrams
Partner with HQ and P&L teams to manage & communicate scope, deliverables, dependencies, risks / contingency plans against business goals/KPIs & stakeholder expectations
Bachelor’s Degree in business, computer science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Software Development Project Management OR Master’s degree with 3 years of experience in Software Development Project Management

Prior experience building internal and/or customer-facing web applications and managing implementation of business processes into software-based technical solutions
PMP, ScrumMaster or related Project Management certifications
Proficiency with MS Office suite of products such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Familiarity with Object Oriented Analysis and Design, Software Design Patterns and Java coding principles
Experience working in Agile engineering environment
