Role Summary:
Be responsible for providing financial leadership in the Dresser Japan. Under the Dresser Japan, there are commercial and supply chain functions. The finance manager is expected to partnership with Sales/Commercial managers to drive the growth of business, and partnership with factory managers to drive cost reduction and productivity improvement. Also, the finance manager is expected to partner with controllership team to enhance the compliance/controllership across the company.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Provide financial analysis and insight in support of business decisions
• Responsible for challenging and monitoring performance of business
• Drive the key planning cycles including operational review, operating plan, and SII
• Drive process improvements and simplification of financial and commercial processes
• Be the gatekeeper and go to person for any technical and controllership challenge
• Be responsible for coordinating all internal control activities
• Lead initiatives in driving variable and base cost productivity across the company
• Communicate solutions across own function with impact on other functions

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years of finance, accounting, or audit experience
• Bachelor’s degree in finance related from an accredited college or university preferred
• Business level Japanese / English capability
• Knowledge of finance: STAT and TAX, US GAAP preferred
• Ability to lead and manage project with multi-functional team
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and demonstrate commitment to meet deadlines
• Ability to work in cross functional environment and matrix organization
• Ability to challenge status quo and influence cross-functional and global counterparts
