Role Summary:
Having its roots in Nukem and Krautkrammer, GE IT UTTM is the market leader worldwide in Testing Machines. Today the Inspection business is at the forefront of GE’s transformation into a global digital industrial company. We provide vital information regarding asset health, providing our customers the ability to collect, analyze and archive industrial data to optimize operations.

Essential Responsibilities:
When this data connects with Predix, GE’s operating system for the industrial internet, inspection data across your assets is now at the customer’s fingertips—anytime, anywhere. With our suite of proven digital inspection solutions, GE is the leading digital industrial company, and is investing in the technical, engineering and software expertise needed to lead the digital industrial revolution. In this context, think of our inspection technologies as an “On-Ramp” to the Industrial Internet.
In this role your responsibility will be to sell the value of the data analysis coming from products and from the capability to connect to Predix.: cost reduction, efficiency, less downtime, less manufacturing scrap, market segmentation based on the quality of the production. Aside meeting the expectations in terms of orders, your role entails two fundamental aspects: (i) moving away from the sale of the equipment to a new model where GE owns the asset and customers pay per use of the analysis and reporting (ii) present to the customer the bigger picture of connecting the equipment upstream and downstream of the NDT machine to embrace the concept of the “brilliant factory”.

The markets/portfolio are : UTTM all (Including Small Systems)

The territory is Europe

  • Own and deliver financial performance (OP) of GE IT UTTM Europe
  • Deploy Outcome & strategic selling by developing rigor around blue sheets and gold sheets
  • Provide technical competence to the customers
  • Develop winning strategies to influence the technical choice of the customer
  • Develop financial packages to support the sale
  • Execute and Support NPI launch plans
  • Grow and track funnel in his Market/Territory
  • Collaborate tightly with the CoE, the quoting team and the Engineering teams
  • Provide VoC to the product managers

    Qualifications/Requirements:
    • MS degree in Engineering or Software Engineering (preferred)
    • Profound overall experience in software or consultancy sales
    • Profound experience working within Industrial environments
    • In depth knowledge of Cloud based solutions
    • Self-starter, capable of working independently to prioritize work and meet deadlines
    • Entrepreneurial Skills, hunter attitude, able to grow a customer base in a new territory
    • Strong business acumen and customer facing skills
    • Documented record of success in influencing customer technical decisions
    • Ability to collaborate with the Center of Excellence and the Product and engineering teams
    • Fluent (verbal and written) in English, and proficient in either German or French
    • Frequent travel is required
