Role Summary:
Digital Service Engineer internship program

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Commission & start-up F&PT digital products
  • Configuration, testing and calibration of digital instrumentation such as positioners, transmitters, and level instruments
  • Build the customer site database of asset management systems like ValvKeep, retrieving and collecting all the necessary information
  • Configuration, testing, and commissioning asset management systems, such as ValvKeep and ValvAware
  • Execution of digital products aftermarket jobs
  • Support to RCA analysis and preparation of troubleshooting procedures for any digital products reported malfunctions
  • Interpretation of field on-site data coming from ValvAware and software diagnostic tools, to provide remote diagnostic support
  • Scheduling maintenance programs leveraging diagnostic tools and ValvKeep
  • Prepare BOM and list of spare parts to be procured for future overhaul jobs
  • Collaborate with software system engineers to identify software bugs or propose simpler solutions

    Qualifications/Requirements:
    • Bachelor degree in a relevant engineering discipline such as Mechanical or Industrial Automation Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent
    • Fluent both in English and Italian language
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, SQL and Database tools
    • Effective time management and organizational skills; able to balance multiple priorities
    • EU work permit

      Desired Characteristics:
      • Knowledge of control valves and SRVs theory
      • Knowledge of industrial DCS and SCADA systems for process control
      • Knowledge of main process/process control applications across the oil&gas, refining, power, and process industries
