This position is open for Field service leadership program (FSLP)

FSLP is 2-year rotational program with:

-3 challenging rotations: 6-month in engineering, 6-month in domestic site and 6-month in overseas site
-A comprehensive 2-month technical training curriculum
-4-month internal Project to exercise on leading project
-Workshops focusing on GE culture and leadership philosophy

This 2-year program will provide an accelerated path to become a world-class field service expert and will open up long-term career opportunities in a company that has 22.000 employees across China.

Overall Summary of the role:

Execution of erection works for Steam Turbines / Generators and related Auxiliaries

Essential Responsibilities:

Perform excellent erection works for Steam Turbines / Generators / related Auxiliaries
Execute all the required preparation and pre-checks to ensure all required materials, tools and equipment are available for both subcontracted and Self Performance erection works
Coordinate with lead supervisor on all issues related to the scope of works
Ensure the highest quality of workmanship and adherence to the Site Quality Plan by all within-the-discipline-subcontractors and / or Self Performance erection works
Document performed work, all Check sheets completed in timely manner
Complete NCR / FSI as per procedures, ensure timely closing
Ensure that all defined packages within the discipline are ready for Turnover to Commissioning in accordance with the schedule or earlier
Closely monitor all activities, which could have harmful effects on the environment
Take action where necessary to ensure that all subcontractors or any Self Performance work force maintain all work areas in safe and clean condition and all installed materials are adequately preserved and protected
Own compliance with GE EHS policy and site specific EHS plans
Ensure subcontractors are in compliance with the EHS requirements at site.

Bachelor degree or above, major in Mechanical or thermal engineering
Fluent in English both verbal and written
Willing to work abroad for a certain period if applicable
Around 2 years of working experience in power industry, mechanical engineering industry, Oil & Gas industry or related industry
Strong in problem solving
Proactive behavior and can-do attitude
Willing to take responsibility
Inclusive and transparent communication style
Ability to prioritize and focus on the key business priorities
Team player, creates a culture of collaboration
Ability to effectively work with cross functional teams & across multiple time zones
