Role Summary: The Chip Spin / Wash Operator - 3rd Shift will have to be self-driven and manage their own time. You will be required to perform each of the tasks below in a safe and timely manner.
Essential Responsibilities: As the Chip Spin / Wash Operator, you will:
Operate plate and floor Wash
Operate Chip/Spin/Spiro as needed
Use all unit supplementary equipment as needed
Move all parts in outgoing queue
Maintain housekeeping in area
Dump full gaylords of chips in appropriate locations
Maintain numerical and written records
Perform frequent heavy lifting
Drive fork truck as required—move material throughout shop floor
Perform basic SAP transactions
Comply with all Lock-Out-Tag-Out training requirements, policies, and procedure
Replenish empty box locations
Replenish empty dolly locations
Unload trucks at the receiving dock when necessary
High School Diploma / GED
Ability and willingness and ability to obtain fork truck training / certification
Ability and willingness to work 1st or 3rd shift
Good safety, attendance and performance record
Able to interpret shop blueprints
Able to interpret MOSs
Able to do arithmetic and basic shop math
Use standard measuring instruments
Work with minimum supervision
Works well with others
