Role Summary: This position is part of the Asean Region Shared Services team, responsible for supporting diverse businesses within GE. Partnering with the broader HR community, you are responsible for human resources operational excellence through stakeholders management, providing HR operational support onsite and remotely to the Country and Business Unit HR.
Essential Responsibilities: • Local support in execution of processes that requires face to face /onsite activities in the area of onboarding, personnel files maintenance, employee lifecycle, reporting and exit administration for both salaried and hourly employees. • Support and execute global & local initiatives relating to deployment of tools and systems (e-HR), review of the process effectiveness, through the engagement of HR community and employees. • Partner with business and country HR Leaders (CHRLs) to support development and implementation of global and local human resources strategies that to enhance the user experience for the employees • Manage the internal and external HR and Payroll audit including with local government bodies • Ensure record retention within scope of responsibilities is in compliant with company and country’s legislation. • Partner with GE’s immigration vendor to ensure work pass applications, renewals and termination are completed timely, including short-term business assignment employees in the country. • Work with global teams and other CoE partners to update policy/ contents in GE tools/ portals (e.g. GE Absence Management tool, OneHR portal) • Participate in ad hoc projects when required
Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experiences working in the share service environment Solid knowledge in the Vietnam HR policy; C&B etc Excellent communication in both English & Vietnamese Good interpersonal, presentation skills
