Engineer, Plant Integration, Erection and Commissioning

5.1    Tasks & Responsibilities
Description of the main principle tasks & responsibilities in the dimensions of operational, financial, process & tools, and people related
  • Works under the supervision of a Lead Engineer.
  • Ensures conformance to contract for all discipline engineering and material.
  • Prepare and deliver work packages (drawings, calculations, specifications, bills of materials, material requisitions,3D models etc.) to the Lead Discipline Engineer on schedule and within budget.
  • Select member sizes and analyse in accordance with national/international codes and standards.
  • Ensure all outputs are documented and archived according to applicable ISO Procedures and/or Work Instructions.
  • Optimize design according to project requirements and best economical-technical benefits.
  • Participate to the design review and design freeze.
  • Assemble document packages to support inquiry and purchase of engineering packages. Prepare commodity lists(utility valve list, piping BOM list). Provide technical clarification and evaluation for quotations.
  • Technical support to tendering, manufacture, acceptance test and verification and component fabrication.
  • Support site erection, commissioning, and testing
  • Other tasks assigned by Lead Engineer or Discipline Manager.
5.2    Key Performance Indicators
One evidence of good performance related to each single task and responsibility mentioned above
  • On time delivery of A&P engineering packages to the assigned projects (OTP).
  • Overall quality of work packages from A&P team for the assigned projects (CoPQ, NCR, VR, etc.)
  • BoM control and forecast for A&P discipline in the assigned projects.
  • Sharing, taking initiatives.
5.3    Autonomy/Authority

  • N/A

  • Arrangement & Piping engineering deliverables.
6. Job Specifics
Exceptional characteristics related to the job, e.g. extensive travel time
  • Office work environment. Be able to travel to field sites, client offices, and performing product performance inspections.
7. Profile
Qualifications (technical & economic), competencies & knowledge needed to fulfil the position
7.1    Education & Trainings

     Mandatory (MUST)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Science required
    Desirable (NICE TO HAVE)
  • MS/PhD is a plus.
  • Degree in Oil & Gas / Power / Chemical engineering is a plus
  • Certified engineer or registered engineer is preferred
7.2    Professional Experience
Experience gained on the job during professional life

     Mandatory (MUST)

  • Minimum four (4) years’ industrial experience in Oil & Gas / Power / Chemical industries after BS, or 2 years after MS degree.
    Desirable (NICE TO HAVE)
  • Experience in air pollution control technologies.
7.3   Behavioural and/or Technical Know-how
 Mandatory (MUST)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint skills;
  • Proficient with PDMS, AutoCAD skills;
  • Ability to effectively listen and take instruction from Lead Arrangement & Piping Engineers and/or assigned mentor
  • Ability to learn to effectively communicate technical issues across disciplines, cultures, work locations, and hierarchical level. (written and verbal)
  • Demonstrates initiative, teamwork and commitment
  • Ability to learn company standard software and discipline specific technical software.
  • Ability to work with others to produce high-quality, accurate and complete engineering documents (drawings and specifications) 
  • Ability to plan and organize

  • Caesar II skills;
