Role Summary: The Security Architecture leader will provide security requirements and support for new technologies on the shop floor and help support brilliant manufacturing initiatives. This is an exciting role that will provide leadership and guidance to the business on cutting edge technology. The successful candidate will be highly motivated and possess broad technical skills with the ability to implement security changes across a large organization.
Essential Responsibilities: • Understanding of cyber security threats and vulnerabilities related to IT system architectures and design used to provide guidance for shop floor initiatives • Work across shop floor and brilliant factory initiatives to identify top threats and programs needed to address them • Help develop security around 3D printing initiatives • Build a repeatable cyber security design and assessment framework for shop floor, implementing the framework, leading the assessments and evaluations of existing solutions, and leading the remediation of cyber security risks or vulnerabilities • Document secure architecture and design strategies for reuse • Identify and deliver appropriate metrics to drive change and build secure solutions • Ensures clear, up-to-date communications to executive leadership on the current and future state • Continually evaluate new threats, solutions and the impact on IT and Business operations and balancing these needs to develop and implement the best security solutions for the business
Qualifications/Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering or related discipline • Experience with secure architectures, identity and access management principles, application security, encryption technologies, DNS, SOA, database and web applications • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure, Security or Compliance

Desired Characteristics: • Experience working in an environment with export control requirements • Experience in Java, Spring framework, and secure application programming and development and API Security (OAuth2, XACML, WS-Security) • Understand federated security with SAML, OpenID, JSON • Strong familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems • Understanding of PKI Cryptography fundamentals including revocation, certificate lifecycles, HSM, and X509v3 • Specific experience with IT Security policies, standards, and risk • Broad background in the following areas: computer / OS security, network security, hardware security, firmware security, and embedded platform security • Exposure to Industrial Control Systems and SCADA security • Experience working in a global environment with offshore support teams • Familiarity with DoD and DoE security requirements • Green Belt / Black Belt Certified (Internal Only) • Strong oral and written communication skills • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills • Demonstrated initiative to stay abreast of technology and security advancements • Excellent communication, analytical, problem solving, negotiation and presentation skills. • Experience with security architecture and design • Industry-recognized security certification such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CCIE - Security
