Role Summary: Responsible for designing and programming a small module or a large component and designing a feature, set of features, or whole feature area in siebel CRM. Works independently and contributes to the immediate team and to other teams across business. Leads design discussion in a limited manner.
Essential Responsibilities: • Serve as technology and process expert in Siebel CRM sales, marketing, and service modules • Serve as Siebel technology expert for Siebel technical areas like Configuration, Workflows, Scripting and Integrations • Collaborate with both global functional and IT teams to drive robust requirements and processes in a boundary-less manner • Collaborate with development teams to ensure designs conform to best-in-class architecture and business standards • Develop creative, robust, scalable, and non-custom solutions and strategies to support GE Healthcare's CRM needs • Seek out new industry and technology trends and apply these learning's to solve business problems • Expert in breaking down problems and estimate time for development tasks. • Skilled in providing oversight and mentoring team members. • Shows ability to effectively delegate work. • Demonstrates the ability to make informed technology choices after due diligence and impact assessment. • Understands whole product, its modules and the interrelationship between them while being an expert in the assigned component or module. • Helps in designing interfaces and information exchange between modules. Serves as subject matter expert (SME) on one or more major modules. • Possesses advanced domain knowledge and shows great customer focus. • Demonstrates clarity of thinking to work through limited information and vague problem definitions. • Expert in processes / methodologies and Skilled in build, release & deployment processes. • Helps define his or her own role in the delivery of the product/service design. • Articulates the need for scalability and understands the importance of improving quality through testing. • Drives design reviews, defines interfaces between code modules, and applies existing technology to designs. Understands whole enterprise solution or service, its components and the interrelationship between them while being an expert in the assigned capability • Expert in assessing application performance and optimizing/improving it through design and best coding practices. • Expert in core data structures as well as algorithms and has the ability to implement them using language chosen. • Drives functional design and implementation on one or more major modules. • Serves as SME and works closely with support and infrastructure services in troubleshooting customer and operational issues.
Qualifications/Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) • Minimum of 8 years’ experience with Siebel CRM or equivalent CRM application • Minimum of 4 additional years’ experience in application design & architecture • Prior experience with large transactional distributed systems • Ability to effectively communicate and influence at all levels of the organization • Able to effectively operate within matrix organizations • Proven analytical and problem resolution skills • Strong interpersonal skills including influencing/negotiation skills • Willingness to learn new tools and functional processes • Ability to influence across functional lines • Ability to manage and execute on concurrent deadlines and multiple projects
Desired Characteristics: • Experience applying agile software development methodology • Healthcare industry experience or awareness • FDA validation experience or training • Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture • Knowledge of Oracle BI Publisher • Knowledge of end-to-end SDLC & infrastructure architecture • Knowledge of Lean principles with success in applying "lean before digitize" principles #DTR
