Role Summary: Lead the cross functional team to deliver on all program(s) deliverables within the terms and conditions of the contract and business case. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated program / project management professional to join a global leader in Aviation.
You will lead exciting but challenging programs which make a real impact to people’s lives, defining how they travel across the globe. With overall responsibility for assigned program’s this role brings great exposure to the business and its leaders.
Essential Responsibilities • All contract performance related activities, tied to customer(s) or program(s). • Perform as interface between the customer and the internal business team, managing the transfer of information and requests. • Assure timely resolution of issues, keep the customer advised of the progress of the program, and negotiate changes, variations, solutions to issues. • Responsible for adherence to contract service, operations, and performance specifications, as well as financial & technical metrics specific to contract. • May also support proposal and negotiations. • Develops an operational year plan for the own department activities. • Suggests improvements in products, processes and procedures. • Contributes to plan of larger unit. • Works together with high level people from the business and SPB and EB level. • Specifies needs, communicates about project approach and presents outcomes of research done. Diverse clients in a region. • Works on the basis of predefined contracts and frameworks. Some latitude to deviate from those conditions.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent knowledge and experience. • Previous knowledge gained within a similar program / project management role preferable. • Experience from within Aviation / Aerospace or a similar industry, or quantifiable interest in Aviation desirable. • Can demonstrate the desired characteristics listed below.
