The Lead Operational Excellence Data Analyst leads the product & process quality data analytics and governance within the Quality organization of Rotating Equipment.
The main tasks and responsibilities of this position are:
  • Recognize available data and support definition of meaningful KPIs and governance processes.
  • Closely collaborate and align with OTR Engineering and Factories on required data input and output.
  • Develop required data flows, define database structures and establish data links. 
  • Extract relevant data from various databases, run analysis and provide consolidated reports. In particular for NCRs, CoQ, OTD and ERS/REX (e.g. with drill down tree).
  • Support gap identification and definition of improvement actions. Support Execution Centers and Factories with the implementation and manage the follow up of defined actions.  
  • Take responsibility to highlight evolutions visible from the data to RE Operation Excellence. 
  • Centralize and support data collection across all Execution Center and Factories to enable synergies.
  • Implement and continuously improve visualized reporting and RE Quality communication platforms (e.g. Intranet, SharePoint).
  • Closely cooperate with SPS Quality for BPMS documentation and IT structure as interface to RE Quality.
  • Manage and improve the document management tools and structure
  • Drive transparency and data quality within RE Quality.
  • Promote the interests and image of the company at all times.
  • Behave according to GE code of ethics and beliefs.
This position location is Beijing or Sanand.

Minimum Qualifications / Requirements
  • At least 5 additional years of industrial experience.
  • Engineering / science degree from university or equivalent.
  • Systematic and structured thinking with process affinity.
  • Data collection and analytics experience.
  • Data reporting and visualization experience.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills (incl. VBA).
  • MS Access or SQL skills.
  • MS SharePoint or equivalent experience.

  • Understanding different requirements and using technical knowledge & skills.
