Role Summary: You will be required to work closely with colleagues from within the Europe & Africa & Latin America region to other global GE product lines to execute the essential functions described below. To manage, develop and support the growth of new and existing business opportunities worldwide.
Essential Responsibilities: The role is focused on determining and understanding customer’s needs, and demonstrating the value the software portfolio can bring to the customers’ business processes. The role is customer facing and is both commercial and technical in nature, and requires deep technical and domain expertise on all GE’s WAMS products and have a good understanding of the integration with complementary product lines especially EMS (e-terra and PowerOn).
• Interact with customers during Conferences events, delivering product demonstration and presentations • Support Business Developers during customer meetings and regional sales teams in the development of technical and commercial proposals • Interact with Solution Architect for challenging projects and with Product Management for proposing new features based on market assessment • Develop an in depth understanding of customers’ needs and drivers and help to define appropriate technical solutions • Identify and respond to key opportunities and assist in ensuring that GE is positioned correctly to respond to these opportunities • Gather and analyse market intelligence in relation to market requirements and competitor positioning Support the sales and power systems team with the development of marketing collateral • Perform such other tasks as are consistent with the position and in support of the Head of your team • Support Business Developers during customer meetings • Support Tendering providing Technical Proposals Write-up
Qualifications/Requirements: • Graduate with degree (or equivalent) in electrical/electronic engineering or a related discipline • Relevant experience in electrical power systems

• Proficient in presenting technical solutions • Experience in dealing with customers at all levels within a business • Fluent in English with excellent communication skills • To be pro-active and work autonomously • Manage time effectively and work to deadlines • Willing to travel up to 30% • Fluency in any additional European languages considered a plus • Experience in a network operations / control center role in a utility company • Full software project delivery lifecycle experience • Highly motivated, flexible individual • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills • Self-starter, team-player • Ability to contribute in an international environment
