Role Summary:
In the role of Configuration Manager, you will:

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement engineering changes into SAP
  • Edit and create drawings and models in SolidWorks
  • Configuration management for NPI's, ensuring that BOM structures are correct and material dispositions are set correctly
  • Modify NPI BOM's based on feedback from supply chain, engineering and procurement.
  • Ensure documentation is in compliance with ISO requirements
  • Maintain controlled documents in SAP and additional secure locations
  • Generate and distribute reports from SAP and other documentation tools
  • Edit and create SupportCentral Workflows
  • Assist with Fastworks initiatives to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Work with product managers and project managers to expedite new product launches
  • Work closely with the NPI team on process validations including FPY and scrap tracking for NPI's

    Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college (OR High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution and a minimum 7 year’s of experience supporting product, manufacturing or shop experience)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience supporting product, manufacturing or shop experience

    Desired Characteristics:
  • Strong Excel and Word knowledge
  • SAP Engineering Change Process experience
  • SolidWorks experience
  • SupportCentral workflow editing experience
  • Visual Basic experience
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to multi-task
  • Experience supporting RVI or UT Products
  • Demonstrated written and oral communication skills
  • In Design, Adobe Illustrator or other publishing program experience
  • Prior experience with ISO 9000/9001 compliance
