Role Summary:
Responsible for proposal and contract management for Wellstream flexible pipe products including collaboration with other GE businesses for joint offerings. They will drive the proposal win strategy and ensure we manage commercial risk assessment, specification and compliance with contract commitments, pricing strategy and customer negotiation.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Work as a key member of the Wellstream Commercial operations team in support of the regional sales teams to ensure we meet orders, cash and margin targets for the business.
• Lead proposal generation for flexible pipeline products, systems and solutions across the Wellstream business and develop winning strategies while ensuring compliance with established guidelines for the risk management process. Actively participate in customer meetings for early engagement and contract negotiations as needed.
• Interface with Regional Sales and other functions such as Project Execution, Engineering, Risk, Legal and Finance to develop strategies and solutions that will match Customer requirements in line with business policy.
• Provide leadership during the deal review process with special emphasis on commercial risk to ensure that all technical and contractual risk points are captured and incorporated in the development of the scope, pricing, terms and conditions, and contract documents.
• Present win strategies for new opportunities to executive management during the tender screening and risk review process
• Ensure order booking requirements are followed to allow a smooth handover process to operations with proper control of contract requirements.
• Continuously identify and refine the proposal processes across the core business, with special emphasis on Lean opportunities for improvement.


• Proven years of experience in a Commercial role, ideally within the O&G industry
• Business, engineering (or equivalent) degree
• Proven ability to lead the negotiation and close out of a contact
• Strong writing, organizational, communication and presentation skills
