GE announced they signed a definitive agreement to sell the Water & Process Technologies business to SUEZ, a services and solutions company with global operations primarily in water and waste management. The deal will be subject to customary closing conditions such as regulatory review and appropriate consultation and we expect this to be complete by mid-2017. Water & Process Technologies will operate business as usual through this process and will continue to meet its commitments to its valued customers and employees. This includes hiring strong talent to help the business grow and be successful. GE is targeting to complete the sale of the business by mid-2017.

Role Summary: The Over the Road (OTR) Driver - Support Services Specialist will deliver customized trailers outfitted with water treatment equipment to customer sites across the U.S and Canada utilizing company owned or leased vehicles.
Essential Responsibilities: As the OTR Driver - Support Services Specialist
Assist in local movement of equipment to customer sites, repair facilities, other GE facilities, or within GE service center compound
Set up / start up units at customer sites, make minor repairs, or provide instruction to customers
Conduct company business in a professional manner while working with GE Field Service Representatives, Sales, and our customers
Comply with all government and company regulations
High School Diploma / G.E.D / Home School Certification / international equivalent to High School Diploma
Minimum of 2 years over the road (long haul) driving experience-multi state driving experience in all weather conditions
Possess a CDL A Driver's License with a Hazmat Endorsement
Ability and willingness to work / deliver to a range of environments to include but not limited to industrial facilities, manufacturing facilities, and power industry facilities
Ability and willingness to meet all DOT requirements and company requirements to operate a company vehicle
Ability and willingness to make runs as assigned - including nights, weekends and holidays
Ability and willingness to make runs across international borders if required
Ability and willingness to work on call / standby rotation
