Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in developing software in large enterprise applications OR Master’s degree with 6 years of experience OR PhD with 3 years of experience.
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. GE may agree to sponsor an individual for an employment visa now or in the future if there is a shortage of individuals with particular skills.
Strong knowledge of Object Oriented Analysis and Design, Native Cloud Software Design Patterns and micro services coding along with security by design principles
Front end: Hands-on experience with web development using HTML5, Java Script 2, jQuery, bootstrap.
Back End: Experience with development using C#, Rest/Json ASP.NET service, Azure Service Fabric and Service Bus, ADO.NET data access, Azure SQL
Experience with Azure Active Directory for Authentication, Authorization and Application is big plus
Strong problem solving abilities and capable of articulating specific technical topics or assignments
Experience in building scalable and highly available distributed systems
Expert in breaking down problems and estimate time for development tasks
