Role Summary: The role is responsible for contract financial management, data collection & analysis, and routine reporting to support F404 and F414 Engines for the Royal Australian Air Force. The role will work with the Program Manager and Contract Manager to ensure prime and sub-contract administration, reporting and financial transactions are completed accurately, compliantly, and on-time to maximize contract performance.
Essential Responsibilities: 1. Execution of Contract, Subcontract, and Survey & Quote financial requirements including invoicing and PO management. 2. Responsibility for establishing and delivering Monthly/Quarterly Contract Reporting process including data collation and analysis. 3. Ownership and management of Subcontractor performance monitoring tools and data recording. 4. Accountable for financial spend analysis, trend profiling, and data tool enhancements. 5. Support of routine and annual financial health reviews. 6. Support of Contract Change Proposal development. 7. Support of Metrics tools and enhancements, data analysis and trending. 8. Support of Program productivity initiatives. 9. Ownership of Contract data file deliverables, analysis and trending.
Qualifications/Requirements: Possession of or the ability to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance is a mandatory requirement for this role. Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance or a related field.
• Experience in financial management support of large complex contracts, preferably within the Defence or Government sector. • Experience working in a multinational corporate environment is desirable • Demonstrated ability to research and analyse data to identify key trends and prepare strategic and operational reports to maximise financial performance. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to build and maintain relationships with a range of stakeholders. • Demonstrated leadership ability including influencing internal and external stakeholders. • Proven ability to work in teams with members based in multiple locations. • Proficient in the use of information technology applications to manage data, workflows and reporting. • Track record of managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines • Provide innovative solutions to business problems through absorbing information, problem solving, checking data sources and providing insights. • Integrity: accepting and adhering to high moral, ethical, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions and when dealing with others. • Accountability & Results Focused: taking ownership for individual goals, activities and decisions to ensure the successful achievement of quality results. • External Focus: consider the external impact of business activities and decisions on customers, market/industry, investors, media and government. • Some travel may be required within Australia and overseas.
