Essential Responsibilities: The Lean Specialist works within the Lean department to support lean initiatives to meet company and customers' goals and objectives. The Lean Specialist provides Lean expertise and guidance through focused and sustainable value stream transformation to enable cross-functional collaboration and best practices sharing and implementation, as well as provides coaching and development opportunities over multiple production line. The Lean Specialist builds communication between Plant Lean Manager and production line around the sites to strengthen overall capabilities of a value stream. - Work closely with the Plant Lean Managers to sustain a Lean culture in the Value Stream Alignment with Lean Vision and Strategy. - Provide coaching and support on training, KPO project identification and prioritization as requested. - Monitor, coach, and continuously support value stream transformation initiatives by coaching on Lean principles, tools and methodologies. - Give guidance, suggestions, and inspiration to KPO member and process owners for optimizing value stream. - Be a leader, mentor and coach towards integration of Lean principles, values, philosophies and tools for driving continuous improvement through coaching and guiding operators over multiple projects. - Mentor a best practice sharing internal network supported by Lean Principles. - A coach and active facilitator in KPO projects and mentoring sessions. - Be an active participant in the Lean Certified Line - Lead by example and model the desired behaviors and values. - Foster respect for people and humility through mentoring and coaching through the site’s Lean journey. - Maintain proficiency continuously learning align with Plant Lean Manager and Operations Leaders - Seek and value feedback from the team and provide timely help if needed. - Develop and mentor multiple production line leaders to facilitate and lead Kaizen Events - Advanced manufacturing technology application – Closely follow brilliant factory trend, familiar industry 4.0 and Internet of Thing application, collaborate Lean and digital, using automation/manufacturing system driving breakthrough on waste reduction - New product introduction – Support engineering team on new product introduction, using Lean tools on layout design, production preparation, resource planning to reduction unnecessary waste
Qualifications/Requirements: - BS Degree, preferably in engineering. - More than 3 working years with project management experience and Lean, Six Sigma or Continuous Improvement skills. Desired with IT software background. - Excellent problem solving skills, sound judgment, initiative, and creativity. - Excellent interpersonal, communication, influencing and organizational integration skills. - Demonstrated ability to pay close attention to detail. - Ability to create real and positive change in a team environment. - Good English Skills
