Role Summary: Engineering associated with the manufacturing process. Comprehensive in-depth understanding of complex and highly technical concepts and principles in the own part of the function. Strong knowledge of technical concepts in technologies that intersect with own technical space.
Essential Responsibilities: In this role you will:
Organize and lead projects related to new premises, factory buildings, rehabilitation, new equipment, lay-out, renovations and optimization
Manage capital investments, includes Advanced Manufacturing Engineers, New product introduction (NPI) and NPI Manufacturing Engineers
Lead analytical and design activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methods
Communicate across direct organization
Present to senior leaders (EB and SEB) in specific technical space and on cross functional teams on how technologies interconnect and contribute to overall strategy
Connect the dots across technologies and develop cross-technology solutions; works on cross-functional projects/teams to deliver technology solutions for the business
Communicate across the function in area of expertise
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Manufacturing)
Minimum of 3 additional years of experience in Industrial Project
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Ability to influence others and lead small teams
Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact
Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously
Effective problem identification and solution skills
Proven analytical and organizational ability
Should have strong computer skills and comfort level with detailed computer processes
Very detail focused, in a strong team environment
Primary focus is on First Article Inspection (FAI) process for new Strother engine work, and Delta FAI's for existing engines. This entails strong print reading skills, print to planning reviewing, part list comparing to Bill of Material (BOM), tooling reviews, and consumable Specifications to Certificate of Conformance (CofC) reviews
Experience with following software and application knowledge a plus
