Role Summary: The Senior Plant Management Staff Manager demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. In this role you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues, be involved in long-term planning and contribute to the overall business strategy. Essential Responsibilities: In addition, you will:
Report to the SPB of Supply Chain Services
Leverage digital industrial technologies through the use of Red eApp, 3D modeling, Proficy, Brilliant Factory - Predix (sensor enablement), MAXIMO and Oracle
Lead 100+ dedicated union employees, a salaried staff of 12 and will work closely with over 36 field service shops around North America
Promote a working environment to achieve excellence in productivity, customer service, quality, and EHS
Drive initiatives to maximize employee contribution and drive improvements in product quality and services
Ensure all Services support functions at facility are staffed and well trained to perform their duties effectively
Be responsible for planning, coordinating and directing all Operations and Services functions at the facility
Lead the effort to develop and implement plans to meet customers' requirements for product quality, cost and delivery
Manage the facility within operating budget
Be responsible for the day-to-day operations at this site including all aspects from the reception of raw materials through the delivery of finished product.
Drive growth and change in a fast-moving, high-energy environment
Promote the use of Six Sigma methodology in driving plant quality improvements.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
Minimum of 5 additional years of experience in Plant Management
Prior experience in plant management
Ability to work within a highly matrixed business environment
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to apply statistical methods for process improvement
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing processes
Knowledge of disciplines of manufacturing management such as production and inventory control, variable cost productivity, and fulfillment metrics, quality systems, cost systems, and fulfillment metrics, and procedures
