Service Segment Leader, Ultrasound (ASEAN)

Role Summary:
This role is responsible for creating and driving service growth programs for the Ultrasound franchise. He/She will work collaboratively with global, APAC / SHS / SGM region and local Commercial, Product Marketing, Service Delivery and Operations teams to develop and position value-added service offerings during the entire lifecycle for both predictive and on-demand service needs. He/She will strategize, develop, build and integrate best practices and tools and ensure commercial execution.

Essential Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities include (but not limited to) :
• Be a strategic business partner to the ASEAN Product Segment Leaders working collaboratively to develop, communicate and drive the growth programs for both Point-Of-Sale and Install Base marketing/lifecycle solutions
• Deep market knowledge and dynamics of Ultrasound segment – size & share including competitive landscape in service segments
• Owner for program analytics, which includes pricing, install base, cost and profitability etc.
• Work with Services & Equipment commercial teams as well as APAC / SHS / SGM Regional Segment teams to build creative and impactful lifecycle commercial offerings and align with Marketing on regionalized value propositions to activate them in the market
• Define localized-service delivery and distribution strategies and ensure capability exists and is built
• Focal point for pricing positioning for different commercial offerings
• Leverage global/regional best practices, tools and new business models to accelerate commercial activation of programs for both direct and indirect channels
• Monitor, measure and report/present growth program outcomes to senior leadership team on a regular basis depending on business needs and requirements

• Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
• Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
• Identify and reporting any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
• Responsible for ensuring legal and regulatory approval of all marketing communications prior to external release


Desired Characteristics:
Required Qualifications:
• Tertiary qualifications in business, marketing, product management or related field of study with a minimum of 5 years experience in a marketing, commercial, product management or operations leadership role
• Proven leadership skills including the ability to motivate cross-functional teams to collaborate and achieve business goals
• Strong business acumen and domain expertise of the Ultrasound healthcare business, market dynamics and ASEAN macro environment
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to communicate with employees and customers at all levels

Preferred Qualifications:
• MBA, Marketing Management or equivalent management degree
• Experience operating in a matrix environment with regional & with global teams
• Ability to develop and execute priorities aligned with growth strategy
• Experience as a change agent and process oriented individual
• Ability to resolve complex issues within functional area and/or area of expertise
• Influencing skills – ability to motivate individuals and demonstrate organizational influence
