Role Summary: Senior Developer - IT Applications, to serve as a technical expert responsible for the design and implementation of solutions on the Oracle Human Capital Management platform (HCM). The role would require a dynamic and talented candidate who is specifically focused on Oracle HRMS implementations, and leverage his / her hands-on experiences to design solutions that integrate central, distributed and client server systems to maximize utility & minimize cost.
Essential Responsibilities: The key responsibilities of the Senior Developer would be to design and implement technical standards, resolve complex system issues, and ensure zero defect project delivery. • Lead large-scale process and technology improvement efforts, to develop mutually acceptable, cost effective IT solutions • Interpret requirements, and produce documented IT application frameworks or architectures • Perform project level design, debug and performance analysis • Write and review Use Cases and detailed specification of key business rules • Create Process flow diagrams, Business Process Mapping Diagrams and Documentation Application Gap analysis • Research development in assigned technology, and execute POCs to validate technology solutions, propose new technology adoption, develop migration and implementation plans, and execute associated projects • Develop and execute a technology roadmap to help better leverage our Oracle HCM EBS system as a service oriented platform that can seamlessly integrate with various business process • Support and resolve IT issues for client leaders and end-users • Develop and maintain relationships with key strategic vendors and peers • Teach and mentor others to develop their technical expertise • Continuously strengthen own technical expertise • Lead programs and projects in support of the strategic initiatives related with incident reduction, simplification, process excellence, security and compliance • Ensure the quality and delivery of the SLA’s by partnering with the IT solution providers and GE Corporate IT Program Managers
Qualifications/Requirements: • Masters in Engineering degree or related from premier institutes • 5+ years’ experience in Information Systems • Minimum of 3 years of recent hands-on technical experience in large Oracle EBS 11.5.10 / R12+ applications, database and operating system systems knowledge in Oracle, UNIX, etc. • Minimum of 3 years of recent, hands-on technical experience in Oracle 10g/11g DBMS and SQL tuning, indexing analysis, partitioning • Minimum of 2 years of recent, hands-on technical experience working with Middleware Integrations with at least two of the following technologies: Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), Business Rules Engine (BRE), Business Process Mgmt (ex: BPM, BPEL) • Minimum of 2 years of recent, hands-on technical experience in coding software using the following technologies: PL / SQL, Oracle Forms, Reports, XML Publisher, OAF, J2EE or ADF, and JDeveloper 10g+ • Strong analytical skills – strong problem solving skills, communicates in a clear and succinct manner and effectively evaluates information / data to make decisions, anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve • Ability to design, develop, and test custom solutions such as interfaces in and out of Oracle HRMS, conversions, reports, and extensions to the Oracle HRMS modules • Excellent oral and written communication skill • Ability to effectively document the technical aspects of Oracle solutions
