Role Summary: The position will be responsible for the long/short cycle business (CMU’s & Repairs) opportunities and proposal. In this role you will develop business strategy and and execute objectives for self and others, and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals.
Essential Responsibilities: • Follows up on CMU’s, CSA’s and Repairs opportunities/quotes through the direct engagement with customers based on regional operational plan; • Leads regional operational rhythm inside sales process • Engages with regional ITO / OTR teams to address customer challenges raised during customer engagements; • Links the regional pipeline with the global fulfillment teams to achieve short- to mid-term orders targets; • Supports the installed base mapping activities and leverages it to create an increased opportunity pipeline; • Develops and executes sales strategies relevant to the market opportunities; • Communicates individual customer requirements for Sales Manager in regards to design and quotation; • Gathers industry intelligence to inform business decision-making; • Makes technical presentations to all levels of customer organization; • Develops engineering and installation work scopes, schedules and cost estimates to facilitate total scope project offerings; • Manages and negotiates commercial and contractual risk within the Inquiry to Order (ITO) process;
Qualifications/Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college; • At least 5 years of relevant experience in Sales, Commercial Operations, Risk or Marketing; • Relevant IT knowledge; • Fluency in English.
Desired Characteristics: • 5 years in Power and Industry experience; • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, commercial operations or OTR (Order to Remittance); • Demonstrated inclusive behavior with success in leading or working in a matrix organization; • Demonstrated clear thinking with effective communication at all levels; • Strong communication skills (both written and oral).
