Role Summary: The Product Sales Director – Boiler & AQCS is responsible for translating the regional product strategy for HRSGs, Boilers and Air Quality Control Systems (AQCS) into actionable go to market and sales tactics to grow the service business across all fleets in the GE Power Service offerings in Latin America beyond Gas Turbines leading the team to close orders.
Essential Responsibilities: • Lead Product Sales team to identify targets and opportunities to drive volume growth in services in these fleets. Support opportunity identification hands on wherenever needed. • Build plan for sales force to visit mapped targets and create long term pipeline. • Work with Account Managers and customers to determine appropriate products and services solutions given customer drivers. • Develop technical scope definition and value story of Boiler and AQCS related opportunites with customers either directly or supporting • Promote full plants scopes, expanding from Boilers and AQCS scopes or adding Boilers and AQCS scopes to maximize value in opportunities generated in other product lines. • Provide feedback when cross-selling for other GE products are identified within GE Store • Collaborate with Product Line to define product specific campaigns. • Provide feedback to product line Boilers and AQCS regarding product improvement needed in the region. Work with the relevant Product Line Boilers and AQCS for the launch of relevant NPI in the region • Collaborate with sales force, product line and marketing to enhance GE market intelligence about Boilers and AQCS, including competitive environment. • Cultivate long-term relationships with customers and within GE corresponding product lines. Understand customers' business, organization, decision making process and drivers. • Be an active leader in the Boiler and AQCS community in Latin America. Develop talent in Boiler and AQCS products. • Simplify the way we deliver to the market place
Qualifications/Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college • Minimum of 5 years experience in Product Management, Engineering, Field Services or Technical Sales • Min 5 years relevant technical experience in Boilers, HRSGs and Air Quality Control Systems • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the energy market • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Experience in team leadership is a plus • Abitility to influence peers and stakeholders in order to implement product strategy • Able to effectively interface with all levels of internal and external customers • Fluent English • Presentation and Negotiation skills • Spanish or Portuguese Speaker
