The Product Owner – Work and Integration Solutions, is functional/technical role supporting the solution development efforts in the Centricity Business program. The specific areas of focus include data exchange and resulting workflows. This is an exciting opportunity to join the CB program and be part of the future integration and workflow solutions.

Role Summary:
This position under general direction from the Product Director – Financial Management Solutions, conducts business and technical analysis, leads software and process design changes, and generate application documentation. The Product Owner will work directly with customers to gather requirements, and be the technical liaison between the software development team and the business customers.
Essential Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Acts as the Product Owner within an Agile scrum team performing the following:
Manages product feature/story backlog focused on healthcare data integration and workflow tools
Meets with Customers to research integration needs
Interprets the business and technical needs
Prepares User Requirements and translates requirements for Engineering
Represents the project stakeholders throughout the process
Provides domain expertise during the acceptance testing process
Supports efforts on Early Readiness Testing (ERT)
Providers product leadership to the development team(s) working on assigned products
Collaborates with software development management and technology leader(s) on ensuring complete and accurate release planning, delivery of high value software and implementing best practice software design and development methods.
Collaborates with User Experience Team on usability testing to ensure the right product is being produced for the customer
Works closely with Product Management to understand the strategic roadmap and provides input.
Collaborates with Organization Readiness on deployment of new solutions
Collaborates with services and support organizations, using established communication and escalation pathways on product issues and new product deployment
Keeps current with industry trends and domain expertise specifically on healthcare data exchange and resulting workflows
Provides customers with product expertise as needed and participate/present at user conferencesQuality Specific Goals:

Qualifications/Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Product Management, Marketing, Engineering, Business Administration, healthcare or related field
5+ years’ experience in product management, product development, implementations and/or related fieldEligibility Requirements:
Experience with connectivity tools such as InterSystems Ensemble/HealthShare.
Expert knowledge of healthcare data exchange standards such as EDI and HL7
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Strong analytical and process skills
Strong project management skills
Ability to work effectively within a matrix environment
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. GE may agree to sponsor an individual for an employment visa now or in the future if there is a shortage of individuals with particular skills.

Must be willing to work out of an office located in Boston, MA.

MBA or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
Healthcare IT/integration experience – 2 years minimum
Experience with Centricity Business solutions.
Experience with healthcare EDI transaction sets and implementation
