Role Summary: The Sr Analytics Engineer - Outcomes Analyst will be responsible for ensuring that GE understands what the value of the outcomes its Outcome Optimizing Controllers (OOCs) deliver to each of our customers and can assess what guarantees it can provide for each OOC.
Essential Responsibilities: As an Outcomes Analyst for the OOCs offered by GE Power Digital’s Operations Optimization (OO) product line, you must have a good understanding of how to measure the value of each outcome that is delivered given the complexities imposed by disturbance variables. You must also understand how GE determines what level of risk to take when offering a guarantee. As the Sr Analytics Engineer - Outcomes Analyst, you will:
Develop and use a process for analyzing the value of the outcomes being provided to each customer by those of GE’s OOCs that make use of artificial intelligence technology
Develop and use a process for comparing the outcomes guaranteed to a customer with the outcomes actually being delivered
Develop and use a data repository that stores (1) the results of all outcomes analyses, (2) all comparisons of guarantees with actual results, (3) additional information about each customer that will allow factors such as plant age and geographic region, fuel type, and boiler and turbine type to be used to filer the information in 1 and 2
Develop a trusted advocate relationship with internal and external customer constituents. Serve as the communications hub and "source of truth" for analysis techniques for OOC outcomes
Provide supporting technical materials, education and in person expertise to others who are using the processes you have developed
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial etc.), Mathematics, Decision Sciences or similar STEM field) from an accredited university or college
Minimum of 3 years of post-undergraduate professional engineering experience in developing applications using AI technology
Minimum of 3 years of post-undergraduate professional engineering experience developing one or more data repositories
