Role Summary: As a Software Architect Oracle ERP, you would be responsible for the design, development, documentation, maintenance and integration of the Oracle ERP modules across multiple GE Businesses. The role would require the candidate to lead the day to day activities to support project work and support for all aspects of Oracle ERP footprint and associated 3rd party bolt-on applications.
Responsible for the design, configuration, documentation, unit testing, system testing, maintenance and integration of the Oracle ERP modules across multiple GE Businesses.
Should have hands-on Functional expertise in manufacturing /Supply chain area which include Manufacturing (WIP/BOM/Inventory/Engineering/Costing) preferably is EBS R12/188.8.131.52.
Contributes to the development of project and data delivery platforms that are service-oriented with reusable components across teams (multiple teams) that can be orchestrated together into different methods for different businesses.
Effectively monitor and control costs in the organization
Participates in the domain technical and business discussions relative to future project direction.
Assists in the analysis, design and development of a roadmap and implementation based upon a current vs. future state in a cohesive architecture viewpoint.
Gathers and analyzes data and develops architectural requirements at project level.
Participates in the EA (Enterprise Architecture) governance model.
Supports the development software and data delivery platforms that are service-oriented with reusable components that can be orchestrated together into different methods for different businesses.
Researches and evaluates emerging technology, industry and market trends to assist in project development and/or operational support activities.
Coaches and mentors team members.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).
A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a technical area (Oracle ERP Architecture, Software, or Information Technology) or (a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Information Technology or Software).

Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% of the time, as required.
Must be willing to work out of an office located in Atlanta GA.
Minimum 5+ years of Experience in designing and implementing Oracle EBS R12/184.108.40.206 in area of manufacturing (Discrete) and overall Supply chain modules. WIP/BOM/Engineering/Costing/Purchasing/Inventory /Planning etc.)
Hands-on Experience in oracle EBS R12/220.127.116.11, Exposure to oracle Fusion ERP in any area will be added advantage for this role.
Exposure to technical tool set supporting EBS R12/18.104.22.168 like workflows/PL-Sql/Middleware technology etc.
Experience with software and Infrastructure Change Management, Release Management, and Source Code Configuration Control.
Strong track record of understanding and interest in current and emerging technologies demonstrated through training, job experience and/or industry activities.
Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency, ownership, and accountability.
Takes ownership of problems and develops sound solution.
