Role Summary: The On Wing Support technician based in Doha Qatar will be responsible for performing maintenance on GE/CFM commercial aircraft engines. The OWS technician may be deployed on short notice to any location around the world to carry out maintenance work. Module removal and installation, line maintenance, borescope inspections and boroblends are among the tasks commonly required.
Essential Responsibilities: • Perform maintenance on GE/CFM aircraft engines around the world to the highest quality standards • Understand and follow appropriate Aircraft Maintenance Manual, Engine Shop Manual procedures • Demonstrate required knowledge of OWS MEA Quality Procedures, as well as EASA/FAA/GCAA/QCAA Part 145 requirements and procedures • Perform supplementary shop and housekeeping duties as required
Qualifications/Requirements: • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Aviation Industry performing maintenance on commercial aircraft engines • Apprenticeship at an EASA Part 145 maintenance organization or FAA A&P license • Availability to work flexible shift patterns as required, including nights, weekends and holidays • Ability to travel on short notice and be deployed at remote locations for extended periods of time.
