Role Summary: MYA Architecture Leader will be responsible to play a coach role across the MYA organization while leading the technical team to establish and enforce standards such that we have high performing, scalable product after each sprint. This person will own the vision and execution of predix transformation roadmap for the MYA modeling software platform. The role involves extensive interaction & collaboration with global stakeholders.
Essential Responsibilities: • 13+ years of experience in Java/J2EE. • Strong foundation in OO Design & Enterprise Architecture and Design Patterns. • Experience in designing & building reusable Utilities, Services and Frameworks • Experience in working with Agile SCRUM development programs including ability to work productively and efficiently with global and distributed teams. • Strong analytical and problem solving skills including ability to make decisions with incomplete data/uncertain environment. • Good communication and presentation skills with ability to clearly articulate decisions, design direction, technology choices etc. • Quick learning skills and adaptability to new concepts and technologies. • Experience in Delivering End to End Solutions in the Enterprise Space. • Strong knowledge in Core Java and Multi-Threading concepts. • Deep expertise in one of front-end technologies (HTML5, JS,Angular), microservices(RESTful web services) or back-end technologies (Posgres, NOSQL, Oracle.. databases) and a broad working knowledge across the stack. Work closely with Enterprise Architect within the Power services organization to develop implementation road-map as per architectural guidelines established. Work closely with the technical leads across PODs to implement design tenets and translate functional and non- functional requirements into artifacts. Ensure reusability, consistency and high standards across scrum teams. Makes high-level design choices and dictates technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms while working closely with global stakeholders.
