GE Power, in Veresegyház was built in 2001 within the framework of a greenfield investment, currently employs more than 1,800 people. Role Summary:
As a member of the Primavera (P6) CoE team, the Primavera Operations Support Specialist serves as a senior specialist for operations support of the pillar platforms under the CoE scope. These pillars are Oracle Primavera Unifier, Oracle Primavera EPPM (P6), HMS TimeControl, Oracle Business Intelligence and an internal homemade platform called Universal Data Center (.NET). The CoE has a far reach supporting Power & Water, Oil & Gas, Energy Management and several other key businesses.

Essential Responsibilities:
This role requires substantial hands-on work with other COE technical teams as well the close maintenance of customer relationships. Strong communication skills with a balance of technical knowledge is key. The successful candidate has the chance to learn broadly, help and provide guidance to other team members, identify way to improve customers experience while implementing best practices, improving existing CoE processes, identifying standards and driving simplification opportunities for the support team.

This role will report to the Primavera CoE Operations Support leader.
  • Provide users support to the different tool
  • Act as a senior with the other team members to help troubleshoot the issues and apply proper fixes
  • Work and collaborate with the different IT organizations across GE for solutions delivery
  • Suggest areas of improvements based on recurrent issues.
    Occasionally act as a replacement for the Operation Support Leader around tickets and issues tracking, Prioritize workload and deliverables
  • Partner with IT leaders across the organization
  • Develop and maintain relationships in and outside of the GE businesses
  • Ensures infrastructure stability while adhering to business-critical application SLAs
  • Proactively monitor infrastructure capacity, opportunities, gaps and address as necessary
  • Maintain industry knowledge related to technology trends
  • Establish strong partnerships with P6 customer base and other’s segment in the CoE
  • Improve and enforce CoE standards
  • Leverage CoE expertise and best practices
  • Leverage understanding of business processes to offer efficient support

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science; OR high school diploma/GED with strong experience in an information systems and/or operations role
  • Good experiences in previous Operation Support role
  • Significant technical infrastructure support/operations experience
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Team player
  • Strong background and work experience
  • A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace
  • Excellent computer skills and proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook

  • ITIL Foundation Certification
