Role Summary: We are looking for a Field Service Engineer responsible for meeting the daily service repair needs of customer’s equipment for our CT products. Based in the London the role requires excellent communication skills combined with engineering experience. Join the GE team!
Basic troubleshooting, installation, maintenance and service repair needs on designated equipment. • Completing Preventative Maintenance and Field Modification Instructions. • Ordering and managing repair parts cycle times. • Keeping up to date on administrative responsibilities such as maintaining customer service logs and internal service records in a timely manner. • Maintaining daily communications with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up, leading to customer satisfaction. • Maintaining tools and test equipment properly and ensuring they are calibrated. • Meeting environment Health and Safety and/or other applicable regulatory requirements. • Managing vendors’ service delivery processes in compliance with GE Healthcare policies. • Utilizing the escalation process to resolve customer service delivery issues and conducting root cause analysis that will lead to effective problem solving. • Working as a member of the local team to provide efficient service delivery to all accounts within assigned area. • May include training of clinical staff on designated equipment.
• Qualified engineer or equivalent. • Happy to travel in or around the territory with valid driving licence. • Comprehensive knowledge of CT. • Technical and analytical skills, with experience of Field Services. • Proficiency in English. • Ability to work designated shift patterns, including scheduled "out of hours work" (2pm-10pm M-F, 1x per month) and scheduled weekends (1 in 4). • Excellent communication skills, listening skills, and interpersonal skills. • Strong customer skills and deals tactfully and effectively with differences of opinion (e.g., influences rather than directs). • Strong customer skills.
