Role Summary: Communicates across direct organization and across the Risk & Compliance function in area of expertise. Presents to senior leaders (SPB and EB) in specific technical space and on cross-functional teams on how their domain contributes to the overall Risk & Compliance strategy.
Drive Corporate network and compute enterprise vulnerability management (EVM) operations, managing offshore team to reduce vulnerabilities;
Enforce the “medium risk” security framework for AWS by coordinating implementation of required controls and their configurations;
Enforce Firewall Standard compliance by managing the change and exception approvals for firewall rule modifications;
Enforce and manage the global proxy policy by managing the change and exception approvals for proxy policy modifications; and
Maintain intrusion prevention system (IPS) compliance by maintaining the security filters for the Corporate TippingPoint management system
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Management or STEM field
Minimum 5 years of relevant IT work experience, including 2 years of network security and/or setting or reviewing firewall rules and other network-related changes
Minimum of 2 years of experience performing project management-related tasks
Minimum of 2 years of experience with ServiceNow or similar tools for asset management and asset service requests

Working knowledge of general network infrastructure and implementation support
Working knowledge of TippingPoint or other intrusion prevention system (IPS)
Experience in designing and creating metrics dashboards including charts and graphs
Experienced in managing data and project archives
Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Effective stakeholder management. Must be able to work across multiple GE business units and Corporate IT functions, setting expectations with stakeholders/internal customers and delivering on them
Delivers tasks on-time with alignment to architectural goals. Can identify and raise issues, risks and benefits
Participates in change initiatives by implementing new directions and providing appropriate information and feedback
Reacts open-mindedly to new perspectives or ideas. Considers different or unusual solutions when appropriate
Displays attention to detail and has experience managing multiple tasks at one time
Strong analytical skills, oral & written communication skills
