Role Summary: The ideal candidate will serve as the Technical Lead for Employee Services Web Infrastructure and solve complex business problems, ensure alignment with strategic objectives, promote infrastructure awareness and ensure compliance. The successful candidate will proactively partner with multiple teams to deliver world class infrastructure solutions while driving a multitude of technology and operational initiatives.
Essential Responsibilities: In this role, you will:
Perform hands on infrastructure maintenance and upgrade activities, ensuring the health and currency of the infrastructure
Implement, monitor and maintain industry standard controls
Lead the setup and migration of in-house hosted applications to the cloud
Analyze utilization data and manage capacity
Mitigate process and procedure risk ensuring proper audits and controls are functioning as designed while continuously evaluating processes against environmental needs
Provide day-to-day management, leadership, coaching and mentorship to a team of Contingent Workers to deliver to defined goals while providing 24 X 7 support
Recommend solutions to re-mediate incidents
Partner with teams to actively triage and debug infrastructure or application related issues
Facilitate project estimation and timeline creation and maintenance thru the creation of standardized artifacts
Coordinate, analyze and recommend courses of action post Volume and Burn in Test activities
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
Minimum of 8 years’ experience in server or hardware administration required with a demonstrated ability to setup, configure, tune, patch, upgrade and tune, Linux or Solaris
Minimum of 8 years’ experience in maintenance, tuning of WebLogic, Apache, JBOSS
Minimum of 5 years’ experience maintaining a high load/ high volume, HA transactional web environments
Minimum of 5 years’ experience leading GDC teams in an infrastructure support capacity
