Role Summary: Customer facing staff responsible for winning business. In this role, you will lead sales engagements from prospect of an opportunity to closure and execution. Heavy focus on business development activities, interacting with senior leaders within our customer organizations and delivering outcome based proposals.
Essential Responsibilities: • Establish a deep understanding of our customers business and technical needs • Create trusted relationships with your customers and internal teams • Manage the sales cycle through GE’s CRM tool • Provide vision and strategy for your customer sector to grow software and services sales • Have the ability to drive key customer facing meetings and events, particularly various level discussions • Evangelize GE technology platform in appropriate sales forums to drive demand and continued interest • Build link to Outcome selling model to ensure our solution ties to customer's interest and outcome • Shape, drive and be held accountable for delivering significant strategic initiatives with key stakeholders • Be part of a sales team that meets and exceeds monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals • Identify and remove technical obstacles that could prevent a sale • Deliver solution demonstrations that focus on the customers’ desired outcomes
Qualifications/Requirements: • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Technical Sales
Desired Characteristics: • Nondestructive Technical Degree Desired • Nondestructive Testing Experience Desired • Previous sales experience desired • Ability to network within local GE infrastructure • Proven sales performance track record • Demonstrated sales and negotiation skills • Analytical: Can manipulate data into actionable information • Confident, “can do” attitude • Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize and achieve deadlines • Takes leadership responsibility for projects • Good communicator both written and verbal • Demonstrated presentation skills • PC literate – Excel, PowerPoint, Word & Outlook • Attention to detail • Strong relationship builder and customer focused Team Player
