Role Summary: The successful candidate will report into the Channel Sales Specialist Manager for Europe and will be a member of Channel Sales structure for the region. The Channel Inside Sales Specialist will play a fundamental role in achieving our channel revenue growth objectives while building plans with our partners to focus on continued growth. .
Essential Responsibilities: Successful candidate must be comfortable making multiple calls per day, working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects and supporting the partners on closing sales
Support Channel partners on new sales opportunities through outbound cold calls and emails, and inbound lead follow-ups to the partners
Understand partner needs and requirements
Support partners in closing sales and achieve quarterly and yearly quotas
Research partner, identify key players and generate interest
Identify and track leads and opportunities on a weekly basis through your partners
Secure Orders Forecast from Channel Partners and compile forecast data for internal GE reporting
Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals
Discuss and agree pipeline growth actions with Channel partners, monitor and encourage change as required to ensure continual focus on growing business
Support partners on the ability to perform effective online demos to prospects
BA/BS degree or equivalent
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in multiple languages to enable to communicate via phone and Email with channels located in various countries – example languages - English, French, German, Italian, Polish, Spanish
Track record of over-achieving quota through partners
Strong phone presence and experience dialing multiple calls per day
Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
Ability to work well in a matrix organization
Strong listening and presentation skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
