Role Summary: The EHS Site Manager is responsible for the overall onshore operations linked to the Klaipeda site. EHS Site Manager is responsible for establishing and implementing EHS Systems for the site, and for ensuring that all operations within the site are integrated. The EHS Site Manager shall provide leadership throughout the organization with regards to the development and compliance with EHS processes. Reporting to the Oil & Gas Site Manager and functionally supported by the Advantec EHS Manager.
Advise site management to improve EHS performance, and drive a proactive approach towards EHS matters.
Develop, communicate and implement short and long term EHS strategy that aligns with regional business cycle growth
Customer EHS champion, external and internal customer focus, strong commitment to the operationalization of EHS activity
Work on base line site performance and closely with management to drive improvements in EHS metrics
Ensure EHS resources are effectively optimized, trained, coached and motivated
Lead site in complying with all applicable EHS rules, regulations and GE policies.
Monitor data to assess EHS challenges, and to develop approaches to control and improve.
Ensure effective working relationships with GE Subsea EHS staff to leverage best practices.
Maintain an in-depth knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements.
