As the Supply Chain Site IT Leader for Lafayette IN you will manage a variety of hardware and software solutions across all life cycle stages.
As an active partner, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce high-quality deliverables, enabling Brilliant Factory technologies at the site.
You'll integrate & align to larger product teams to drive performance against co. objectives that support the transformation of the business to a digital industrial leader.
In addition you will :
Partner with business leaders and users to creatively identify / evaluate / implement / improve business technology and processes and arrive at mutual, cost effective solutions utilizing Lean and Agile principles
Participate in the preparation of long-range plans and assure that they are in concert with business objectives and goals
Drive the evolution of Digital Industrial by delivering Brilliant Factory concepts at the site including sensor enablement, data visualization, mobility, vision systems, etc.
Provide technical support for site specific software including: Factory Management, SAP, RFID, Spotfire, Kronos, etc.
Execute as front line technical support for all site IT hardware including personal computers, network, server, audio / video, printer, paging, security and voice infrastructure
Develop and manage site IT budget, carefully evaluating and reviewing shop IT expenses and investment
Maintain documentation on all IT systems, installations, and configurations
Ensure conformance of established IT architecture, standards, and practices
Own the resolution of IT issues in a timely manner (By the help desk or local support)
Coordinate and communicate all Change Management and Risk Management activities
Participate in Global Shop Operations calls and other Supply Chain IT operational and project discussions
Stay current with emerging technologies and promote their use
Lead in the evaluation / implementation of third party software solutions
Initiate and coordinate outsourced supplier efforts, as required
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline from an accredited college or university
Minimum of 3 years of experience with current Information Technologies and their influence on business functions

Hands-on experience in a variety of technical disciplines (e.g. networking, servers, custom and packaged software, etc.)
Hands-on experience within a shop floor manufacturing environment supporting manufacturing execution applications and processes
Ability to meet objectives by influencing and engaging across multiple teams
Proven analytical and problem resolution skills
