Role Summary:

The Senior FP&A Operations Staff Manager will be accountable for providing executive support to the entire IT organization, ensure the accuracy of the financials and synergies, and drive strategic decision making with Senior Leadership. In addition, the role will manage multiple cross functional and organizational projects to enhance efficiencies, reporting, billing/pricing, FP&A processes, operational excellence and acquisition/divestiture impact related projects.

Essential Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross functional initiatives: Primary responsibility of this role will involve lead cross functional initiatives for and across the team. Lead and support financial components for major projects, drive project execution, manage matrixed resources and outcomes. Examples: Horizontal IT management, Implementation of ITFM billing/pricing system, Alstom integration of ledger financials, Sourcing budgetary challenges, regional funding issues, outsourcing/insourcing strategy, vendor strategy, Operational run or strategic project analysis and support; TSA Management and integration and simplification.
  • Initially, the role will be as an independent contributor with potential to manage associates in the future
  • Other responsibilities could potentially include:
  • Product management: Drive transformation of services, exposure to business finance, pricing analysis, new service introduction, demand planning etc.
  • Billing: Partner with the operations team to promote efficiencies annual billing cycle which includes demand planning, pricing analysis, customer relations, and overall product management.
  • Tools: Lead partnership with Product Mgt to promote, analyze, and maintain ITFM tool for assigned product lines.
  • Productivity: Analyze results with Operational partners to drive unit cost productivity understanding and opportunity identification.
  • Process Assist with defining enhancements to financial processes and drive operational accountability/ownership of costs, contractor management and alignment of revenue with expense trends.
  • Leadership support: Provide support for changes in operational processes and build relationships with operational leadership to drive business decision making.
  • Financial planning & analysis: Lead, manage, and develop monthly/quarterly estimates, monthly close, annual budget, high risks/opportunities. Ensure operations and finance teams know risks/opportunities and communicate those to leadership (setting the right expectations) for all FP&A processes

    Qualifications/Requirements:

    Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
  • MBA, Financial Management Program/Corporate Audit Staff graduate preferred
  • At least 5 years of experience in a financial position, preferably in a financial planning and analysis role
  • Experience working in an operational finance role
  • Experience preparing variance analysis and financial forecasts
  • Proficient use of financial systems and analysis tools to include Microsoft Office Suite and Hyperion
  • This role can be located in Cincinnati, OH, Van Buren Township, MI, Buckhead, GA
