Role Summary: Regional EHS Governance Experts are the core members of the OneEHS Governance Leadership Program, which develops EHS experts by giving them the skills necessary to assume big roles in OneEHS. They audit and coach GE's sites, operations and identify/help address all types of EHS risks, ranging from process safety to permit compliance. They also ensure proper implementation of GE and external cert. programs.
Coordinate, conduct, and lead all types of EHS audits of GE operations/services in the region (Europe, SSA + Russia/CIS)
Execute auditing plan and support integration efforts in the region as necessary
Promote and drive scenario-based audits in business critical and high risk operations
Train, coach, and mentor audit team members on technical and professional skills
Coach GE operations/services on closing audit findings in a sustainable manner
40% travel accross the region
Bachelor's Degree in an EHS-related discipline or with extended studies in an EHS-related discipline, from an accredited college or university
Experience in executing EHS programs at fixed facilities, service operations, offices and/or other entities in an industrial environment
Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills in English
