Role Summary: The Engineering Product Owner (EPO) role in the Installed Base Engineering Team is an Integrator across operating functions (Sourcing, Supply Chain,sales & Service). The EPO manages the‘product line’ to ensure that the product continues to ship and performs with good quality in the field. The EPO contributes to product management activities of released products and directs a virtual cross-functional product team. The position drives clarity by defining and prioritizing the programs
Essential Responsibilities: The selected person will be responsible for Improving and Sustaining the Quality of State of the post market Maternal Infant Care products designed or manufactured by GE Healthcare. Duties include (but are not limited to):
1.Drives effective communication across businesses and functions. 2. Monitors quality of product, initiates corrective actions as needed. Works with CHU on complaints trending, SPCR coding and Investigations. 3. Owns the fulfillment risk management for the products that he/she owns. 4.Manages part obsolescence issues pro-actively and initiates maintenance projects as needed. 5. Owns Project Scoping, Planning and Execution for the product line. 6. Works with the Business Team and Program team to deliver quality output on time. 7.Owns the Cross-functional project execution leadership. 8. Works with customers to solicit product feedback and leads cross-functional teams to drive customer support. 9. Drives other Sustaining Engineering projects (SCRs/ECRs, Registrations, Labeling, etc.) 10. Manages Supplier Transfer Projects for Engineering deliverables. 11. Drives VCP projects for the products to reduce ICV.
Quality Specific Goals:
1. Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position 2. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines 3. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required 4. Ensure compliance/closure of Regulatory and Quality requirements before approving Design Outputs/Program Deliverables 5. Lead continuous improvement activities by driving the implementation of process and product quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications/Requirements: - Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Bio-medical Engineering. - At least 7 years’ experience in project leadership and 12+ years of overall experience within a manufacturing, development or research environment. - Demonstrated execution at meeting project goals while satisfying quality, performance, schedule, and budget CTQ’s. - Demonstrated experience driving variable cost productivity (VCP) and Inventory Carrying Value (ICV) reduction to enable optimized product margins. - Demonstrated engineering knowledge, program management, and business planning processes, having experience with the full product life-cycle. - Familiarity with ISO, FDA and other regulatory standards.

Creative problem solver and solution developer when presented with conflicting requirements, business demands and technical risks/issues 4. Demonstrated skills in proactively identifying, facilitating and driving closure of a product/program 5. Knowledge of GE Healthcare engineering tools and processes (EQPM, ePDM) 6. Attention to detail and ability work with global cross-functional teams toward timely completion of a variety of assignments 7. Ability to develop unique concepts/solutions for complex products
