Role Summary: Job Overview: This role is responsible for the development of state of the art software platform for service, diagnostics, installation, configuration, calibration and maintenance for the Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). This role requires cross functional collaboration with global software and service engineering team to develop secure service platform capabilities from concept to product. One of the specific aims include solving focused customer issues through sustainable design solutions.
Essential Responsibilities: Essential Responsibilities: You will be responsible for programming a feature and or a small feature set. You will contribute to the team and works with direction from the Senior Team Members or management but works independently.
In this role, Duties include (but are not limited to): • Apply principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques • Responsibility across the full development lifecycle of requirements, design, implementation and testing. • Technical expertise to plan, execute and integrate the service platform components into the MR scanner . • Be a change agent to facilitate the use of modern software development tools, techniques and development environments that enhance team productivity, share best practices with other software engineering groups within global MR software engineering teams. • Deliver modern software design to bring features into the large scale MR software platform • Work closely with Principal Engineers and Architects in software development activities.
Qualifications/Requirements: Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's/Masters Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering - A minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience - Working experience of agile methodologies - Knowledge of the software development lifecycle in product development & maintenance phases - Expertise in Java, Java script, HTML5 & CSS technologies - Experience in Perl or Python scripts & Unix/Linux operating system - Working knowledge in configuration management tools such as Clearcase/Perforce
Quality Specific Goals: 1.Support continuous improvement activities by driving the implementation of process and product quality improvement initiatives 2.Aware of and comply with the Quality Management Policy. 3.Ensure compliance/closure of Regulatory and Quality requirements for medical devices in all design outputs and program deliverables 4.Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines 5.Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required 6.Support compliance/closure of Regulatory and Quality requirements before completing program deliverables.
