Role Summary: The ASEAN Connectivity Leader will be responsible for deploying and maintaining the most effective connectivity solutions amongst the current installed base as well as new and future installations to enable the growth of ASEAN wide digital remote service offerings and capabilities for all modalities. She/he will be working closely with in-region connectivity teams to resolve persistent connectivity issues while interfacing directly with modality remote service teams.
Essential Responsibilities: Establish strong relationships with region connectivity and remote online modality support teams. Develop and drive the regional connectivity strategy for static and persistent broadband connectivity while leading execution for improving key connectivity performance metrics. Create operational mechanisms with region modality, service delivery, operations, and service commercial teams for the successful delivery and performance monitoring of remote and digital services connectivity for all eligible modalities. Drive connectivity metrics across service teams (Connectivity@IB) and HPM teams (Connectivity@Install) for applicable modalities across Imaging, ULS and LCS. Develop and lead the remote connectivity training strategy for the region. Manage the training strategy deployment for all ASEAN teams including but not limited to service operations, commercial and HPM teams. Partner with product, service, commercial and marketing teams (direct and indirect) as well as HPM teams to develop, market and execute value propositions based on broadband connectivity. Partner with global and regional program leaders to actively plan and assist with the implementation of programs like for instance iCentre, InSite, iLinq, OnWatch, etc. Develop solutions to address connectivity roadblocks at the customer-end, e.g. data security, IT protocols, etc. as well as interfacing with customer IT representatives to address those concerns. Visit vendors, attend conferences or trainings, study technical journals to keep up with changes in technology and to determine which solution meets country specific needs. Propose and drive modifications on existing broadband solutions where needed. Lead customer visits to promote and show the benefits of broadband connectivity providing technical knowledge and security assurances as required. Be the regional contact with Global and SGM connectivity and remote teams. Own the deployment of Global and SGM best-practice initiatives in-region.
Qualifications/Requirements: Engineering degree or equivalent (Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications or Information Technology). Experience, knowledge of remote operations processes and procedures. 5 years of networking experience; especially on enterprise solutions, VPN networking, SSL and IPSEC data encryption (Cisco VPN experience is a plus). Knowledge and familiarity with Healthcare products and technologies. Good analytical and communication skills. Ability to develop relationship with multinational, virtual and multifunctional teams. Creative mindset with ability to come up with ideas for continuous improvement and technology evaluation. Demonstrated ability to motivate others and achieve results. Excellent presentation and influencing skills. Fluent in English: Daily oral and written communication. Ability and willingness to travel on work assignments (30-35%).
