Role Summary:
The Plant HR Manager is the first point of contact for assigned managers and employees based in Bari and his/her scope is to provide advice, coaching and support on HR fundamentals and employee related questions; this role is critical in executing our country/region wide initiatives, providing available and responsive internal customer support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement.

Essential Responsibilities:
This role will report to the DTS (Downstream Technology Solutions) Sr. Employee HR Manager and be part of a pooled EHRL team supporting nearly 900 DTS employees across different locations in Italy. The Plant HR Manager will mainly focus on the PVS business which is a cross-functional, dynamic, young and fast paced client group of nearly 300 professionals (both white and blue collars) based in Bari.

In this role you will:


  • Meet regularly & proactively with managers to provide HR guidance on change management, compensation, retention, engagement, talent assessments, and performance management enhancing the People’s Leader skills to improve the employee experience and engagement
  • Provide advice and counsel to managers on ER related issues to ensure consistent, transparent and fair application of policies and practices across the Region/Country; as People Partner will own investigations when needed; restlessness promote an ethical and compliant work environment embracing and leveraging Diversity
  • Engage with employees regularly to become trusted advisor and being expert of our people and the way they work; coach managers and employees to ensure team priorities are laser focused, on-strategy, & drive customer success
  • Drive employee development: coach managers to create meaningful, personalized development plans
  • Be the single point of reference for both Unions and Industrial relations
  • Lead the org design initiatives to ensure the optimum operating model and structure and help the teams scale
  • Partner with SHRM, HR BPs, and HR folks to execute on business/country-specific HR strategies & initiatives; lead specific site-wide HR projects as necessary, working across multiple client groups in different locations
  • Benchmark best-in-class ER programs/Initiatives in O&G/GE & in the Industrial Digital industry to attract, engage and retain best talents

    Qualifications/Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college (major in HR, Legal, Economics preferred)
    • Master Degree in HR/Labor relations management
    • Strong professional work experience in the HR function as HR Generalist and HR Plant management
    • Previous roles as HR specialist/generalist roles supporting multiple and wide client groups with a “custom made” approach preferably in a manufacturing environment
    • Other HR roles with responsibilities such as recruiting, training, compensation, benefits, employee development or performance management are considered a plus
    • Labor Relations experience
    • Very high proficiency in English
    • Expertise in MS Office, particularly with tools that accelerate productivity (e.g. formulas and pivot table)
    • Enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environment
    • Approachable and responsive resource able to connect with employees at all levels
    • Ability to interface at all levels of the organization
    • Passion for innovative HR solutions and process improvement
    • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
    • Willingness to be relocated in other locations when required according to personal development plan and HR org team dynamics
    • EU Work Permit
