Role Summary:
In this strategic role, the Technical Sales Specialist, Radiography, is responsible for working directly with the NA radiography sales team in support of commercial activities including product demos, applications services, and conducting product & applications training. Product lines include Phoenix CT, X-ray testing machines, standard products and digital conversion. Position requires strong domain knowledge in 2D, 3D, and digital radiography solutions.

Essential Responsibilities:
In the role of Technical Sales Specialist you will:

  • Support NA commercial sales team in revenue generation activities for 2D, 3D and Digital conversion product lines
  • Cooperation with all other global radiography sites
  • Collaborate with peers in development of customized application solutions
  • Presentation of X-ray systems in house and at customer site
  • Conduct customer applications training onsite or in house
  • Be a domain expert on GE Inspection Technologies CT, X-ray testing machines, and Digital Radiography products including Detectors (CR and DR); and associated software / training / services

    Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree (OR Associate’s degree from accredited college or university and 5 years of experience in sales, business development, commercial, technical product demo or customer sales support OR High School Diploma/GED and 7 years of experience in sales, business development, commercial, technical product demo or customer sales support)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, business development, commercial, technical product demo or customer sales support

    Eligibility Requirements:

  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 50%, as required
  • NDT Certifications

    Desired Characteristics:
  • Practical experience in 2D and CT image acquisition and image procession software
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Team player, being proactive, autonomous and creative
  • To be used to working in matrix organization and cross functional team
  • English language, additional language skills are welcome
  • Knowledgeable with CT inspection techniques for advanced manufacturing including ALM
  • Expert in NDT and/or metrology applications
  • Knowledge of VG Studio Max and metrology software
  • Knowledge of NA radiation safety rules and regulations are a plus
  • Previous experience in a commercial role including field sales
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain business relationships
