Role Summary:
The successful candidate will leading GE Healthcare's EDI billing solutions projects through our EDI Center of Excellence. The goal of Centricity EDI solutions is to provide customers rapid access to the business intelligence and comparative analytics needed to monitor, track, and respond to issues related to financial and operational performance.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Manages all aspects of multiple small to large projects concurrently from initiation through closure
• Develops, sells and implements comprehensive project plans, encompassing project team structure and resource assignment, implementation, testing and training plans, creation of a control plan identifying both business process metrics and IT platform quality requirements and ensuring successful transition to support and maintenance teams
• Owns all project risk; including time, budget, and scope, and the associated plans to contain and/or mitigate risk
• Identifies critical path decisions, makes recommendations and influences program leaders and business process owners to maximize project payback
• Manages daily activities, issue resolution and communication across project execution teams in order to deliver projects on-time, on-budget, as-requested by customer

Quality Specific Goals:
• Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
• Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
• Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
• Responsible for data integrity of the system inventory, as applicable
• Aware of and comply with the change management work instruction

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Experience previous experience in Healthcare IT Solutions and Services.
• Demonstrated project management skills including project initiation, scoping, resourcing, scheduling, budgeting, risk management and communication
• Project management experience in global environments
• Awareness of and ability to deliver compliance requirements
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interface and influence at all levels in the organization
• Demonstrated ability to excel in a global matrix organization
• Strong leadership skills
• Analytic, creative and business focused problem solver
• BS Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a Bachelors degree and 5+ Years of Healthcare IT Solutions experience
• Minimum five years IT experience of which 2 years should be in project management or equivalent

Desired Characteristics:
• Previous Experience with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)
• Previous Experience with Hospital Patient Accounting Concepts
• Experience in the Healthcare industry
• Preferred Locations are Burlinton VT or Boston, MA, but we will consider candidates from other locations based on experience.
• Lean experience
• PMP / ITIL certified
