Role Summary: The APAC regional delivery leader will work in partnership with existing the oil and gas practice leadership team. You will provide direction for a team delivering unique Predix-based solutions. You will build and manage a team of architects and consultants who will deliver services-led solutions and support complex client delivery.
Essential Responsibilities: The developed solutions can be existing core capabilities, innovations off of core capabilities, or new innovations. These solutions need to be aligned with clients and the teams needs as well as cross functionally aligned with stakeholders such as sales, product teams, support, and training. You will achieve the organizations business objectives measured by customer satisfaction, bookings, revenue, and billable utilization.
• Directly manage the APAC consulting team for Oil and Gas Digital • Participate in the development of your teams with a focus on key skills and experience across market verticals and solution areas • Manage and lead a team architects and consultants focused on delivering solutions on GE’s Predix platform • Leverage a high touch engagement methodology to drive adoption and success with tier 1 customers • Drive local partner relationships around execution and delivery on behalf of customers • Work cross functionally with oil and gas specific practice leadership to drive oil and gas specific value to customers • Identify key projects where the team can provide added value with new services approaches and methodologies • Meet the regional consulting team business objectives, including team billable utilization levels to meet financial targets and successful client delivery • Manage all back-office tasks to ensure visibility and reporting on team activities • Support and manage complex projects, workshops, and Agile delivery • Maintain any necessary customer contacts until project is completed; act as an escalation point for customers, and represent customers for the practice and regional teams • Drive services thought leadership and business success through cross functional alignment with Sales, product teams, Engineering, Support, Enablement, and Training • Work with Solutions Specialist Sales leadership to integrate and improve customer pursuit approaches, track and report on business progress, and align capacity with expected demand • Establish and maintain appropriate relationships and persistent bi-directional communications with product team leadership to ensure consulting preparedness for evolving product strategies, and to provide invaluable customer experience and feedback to the product teams to improve product direction • Ensure customer success by collaborating with Engineering and Support to validate consulting approaches and methodologies are in line with recommended standards • Use customer and market experience to constantly improve training and enablement programs and materials so that they best apply to consulting needs • Enable the greater customer, internal, and partner teams with proven service methodologies, technology skills, and approaches
Qualifications/Requirements: • Demonstrated successful solution delivery for complex customers • Solid knowledge and operational experience on new services methodologies related to next-generation Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), operations management, and automation, as well as Agile and DevOps • Ability to quickly embrace and understand new technologies, apply new information, and understand complex topics • Experience and expertise in managing a professional services team (including customer facing skills) with highly technical resources • Background in architecting and designing complex customer solutions in a rapidly evolving technology domain • Broad and deep technical experience with cloud and emerging technologies, including Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) • Outstanding verbal and written communications skills, including extensive experience presenting to C-level executives at large firms • Solutions sales mentality in an environment with multiple products and services • Ability to work seamlessly with distributed cross-functional teams to achieve success on behalf of customers • Balance of strategic and tactical skills, with great problem solving skills and creativity • Experience in oil and gas is a plus • Comfortable working with highly distributed teams • Ability to study on your own to quickly learn and put into practice new topics • Ability and willingness to travel, as required. • College degree
