Essential Responsibilities: - Analyzing production router / operation plan and work center capacity and feeding the planning tool to determine capacity, processes, tools, and resource requirements - Monitoring, analyzing & reporting performance to schedule of production, utilizing information derived from planning tool and production control and support systems (RDAS,ORCA) - Securing in close cooperation with our business partners a reliable forecast and a continuous workshop loading - Continuous improvement of Planning processes are crucial to meet the market requirements - Timely and professional execution (e.g. cost, throughput time, quality) of production orders to guarantee an on time delivery above 90% - Regularly review and update of manufacturing cost, throughput time and scrap rate for the allocated product portfolio
Detailed Task - Working closely with customers as SPOC (single point of contacts) - Analyze equipment & man power capacity to have horizontal plan for quarterly, yearly ahead - Provide full picture to cell leader to decide buy new equipment, or hire new headcounts - Exchange and deal with customers for any delivery issues, repair scopes,… - Work closely with engineering team to update new qualification, new technologies,… - Work out generic plans to decide receive new orders - Planning production of all projects - Reporting on weekly SD hours, Dial indicator, QMI - Updating PO status & available capacity in bi-weekly meeting with customers - Planning and forecasting shop loading capacity for quarterly review - Pulling in orders to fill shop capacity - Updating processing time by components - Being a focal contact with customer - Confirming PO and component dispatch with customers
Qualifications/Requirements: - Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Manufacturing). - Major of mechanical or electrical is preferred - Master MS offices, especially Excel skills - Knowledge on forecast models, planning model - Experienced as planner role is a plus
